Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans worldwide following his recent surgery, stating that no one to be blame for the injury.
In a touching message, Musiala said, “Hello everyone. I wanted to say thank you for all the love and support I got from all of you. Really means a lot to me.”
Addressing the football community’s solidarity, he added, “It’s nice to see how the football world comes together in a time like this, and I really appreciate it.”
Reassuring supporters about his recovery, Musiala confirmed, “The surgery went really well. I’m in good care.”
Showing maturity and perspective, he emphasised, “I wanted to say there’s no one to blame for this. I think situations like this happen.”
Looking ahead with optimism, Musiala concluded, “Now I’m just gonna use the next period of time just to build up my strength and positivity, again, and looking forward to seeing you guys again.”
The Germany international fractured his fibula as a result of a broken ankle in Bayern’s Club World Cup quarter-final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday following a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Musiala is set to miss at least the next four months of action due to the injury. Bayern confirmed on Monday that the 22-year-old had undergone successful surgery and he then posted an update on Wednesday.
Fans and teammates alike are rallying behind the young talent as he embarks on his road to recovery, eagerly awaiting his return to the pitch.
