In a lighthearted video circulating online, Wilfred Ndidi, midfielder for Beşiktaş and Nigeria, tried to convince his Beşiktaş teammate Felix Uduokhai —a German-born defender eligible for Nigeria—to switch his international allegiance.

Both players were seen sitting casually in the club’s gym or changing room, dressed in Beşiktaş training gear, sharing laughs.
Speaking in a mix of Nigerian Pidgin English and standard English, Ndidi encouraged Uduokhai, “Represent your country, bro. Come and play for Nigeria.”
Uduokhai responded with playful confusion, laughing, “Huh? You say what?”
Ndidi persisted, saying, “Yeah, I said come on. Man, play for Naija. Center back, center back! We want center back. Come and play for Nigeria.”
Uduokhai joked about payment, laughing, “Eh? How much?”
Ndidi humorously replied, “If you want money, just don’t bother. Just stay!”
