In a warning issued on Sunday via a post by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi on X (formerly Twitter), the agency revealed that recent operations uncovered hard drugs disguised as common goodies.

The NDLEA thereby enjoined parents to stay alert and take extra care in inspecting seemingly harmless items that could pose serious dangers to their children’s health and safety.
“Parents, please pay attention to those substances that look like sweet, chocolate, candy or biscuit in the pockets and bags of your children.
“They come in colourful & attractive wraps & names but they’re destiny destroyers,as seen in sm latest #ndlea_nigeria seizures,” Babafemi had written
