Video: NDLEA uncovers drugs hidden inside cereal in Lagos

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) made a startling discovery at Lagos airport, uncovering narcotics concealed inside packets of the popular cereal, Golden Morn.

This was made known in a video shared on Sunday by the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi.

Accompanying the video with a caption he wrote, “This is a popular cereal, Golden Morn, but inside it is beyond that as discovered by @ndlea_nigeria operatives at the Lagos airport.”

In a warning to the public, he added, “As we often warn, never accept any luggage not packed or thoroughly searched by you, on any trip. It’s always in your interest.”

The agency continues to urge travelers to be vigilant to prevent drug trafficking through unsuspecting carriers.
