Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed a key conversation with United States President Donald Trump, highlighting potential diplomatic breakthroughs in the ongoing 25-day conflict with Iran, even as Israel intensifies military operations.

In a statement released today, Netanyahu wrote, “Earlier today I spoke with our friend President Trump.”

He added that “President Trump believes there is an opportunity to leverage the tremendous achievements we have reached alongside the US military to realize the goals of the war through an agreement that will safeguard our vital interests.”

The remarks come as the U.S. extended a negotiation deadline to March 27, balancing diplomacy with unyielding action.

Netanyahu emphasised continued airstrikes, stating, “At the same time, we are continuing to strike in both Iran and Lebanon. We are smashing the missile program and the nuclear program, and we continue to deal severe blows to Hezbollah.”

He highlighted recent successes, noting, “Just a few days ago, we eliminated two more nuclear scientists – and we are still active.”

Netanyahu concluded firmly: “We will safeguard our vital interests under all circumstances.”
