A video shared by the New York Post, shows Elisabet unexpectedly falling on stage and striking her head against the pulpit.
Nearby officials promptly rushed to assist her and ensure she received the necessary care.
Elisabet was named Health Minister on Tuesday, following the sudden resignation of her predecessor, Acko Ankarberg Johansson, the day prior.
