In a viral video capturing behind-the-scenes artistry, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck revealed how music superstar Wizkid initiated contact for their track “Easy With Me.”
According to Odumodublvck, the excitement began when he received a WhatsApp message from an unfamiliar number.
The first text simply read, “Machine,” immediately followed by a phone call.
Surprised by the boldness, Odumodublvck admitted, “I was sucked by the kind of audacity.”
After missing the call, the message sender sent a voice note, captioned, “first verse for you.”
Upon listening, Odumodublvck instantly recognised the unique melody as Wizkid’s signature sound.
He expressed gratitude saying, “Baba, thank you so much for the opportunity.”
