Prominent political leaders, including former Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, graced a special thanksgiving service hosted by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, July 6.

The event, held in Abuja, marked the successful completion and inauguration of several key development projects across the FCT.

The thanksgiving service drew a distinguished crowd, with Ortom and Okpebholo joining other high-profile guests, government officials, and community leaders. Their presence underscored the significance of the projects and the collaborative spirit driving infrastructural progress in the nation’s capital.

Wike, in his address, expressed gratitude for the support received from various stakeholders, emphasising the importance of unity and dedication in achieving the administration’s development goals.

He highlighted the recently inaugurated projects, which include, Road infrastructure upgrades in key districts, modernisation of public facilities and utilities, and Expansion of social amenities to underserved communities.

Wike noted that these projects are part of a broader vision to transform the FCT into a model of urban excellence and inclusivity.
