Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s spectacular bicycle kick for Galatasaray against Antalyaspor in October 2024 has been voted the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Season.

Osimhen’s acrobatic effort, scored deep into stoppage time after coming off the bench, captured 65.8% of fan votes on the league’s official X (formally Twitter) handle, beating teammate Kaan Ayhan’s free-kick to the award.

The goal capped a remarkable season for Osimhen, who finished with 37 goals in all competitions and helped Galatasaray secure a league and cup double.

His overhead kick was described as “Puskas-worthy,” further cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting strikers.
