The distribution event was held at the Agricultural Credit Corporation’s facilities in Total Garden, Ibadan.

Taofeek Akeugbagold, the Chairman of the Corporation, oversaw the distribution.

Included in the distribution were rams, bags of rice, vegetable oil, and other vital food items.

Akeugbagold highlighted that this initiative is part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s continuous dedication to the well-being of state employees, especially during festive occasions.

He mentioned that over 5,000 workers have already taken advantage of the program, which offers goods at significantly reduced prices compared to current market rates.

He also indicated that the payment for these subsidized items would be phased out gradually over three months starting in August.
