Video: Real Madrid stars mock Lamine Yamal after El Clásico Defeat — “You talk too much”

Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal became the center of attention after Sunday’s El Clásico, following a series of bold social media posts and confident remarks made before the highly anticipated clash against Real Madrid.
In the build-up to the match, the 17-year-old winger stirred up excitement and rivalry by posting on Instagram, “This year, they simply can’t beat us,” along with the caption “Born for this.” Yamal also showcased his new haircut, shared clips of his past goals against Madrid, and engaged in playful banter with streamer Ibai Llanos, mocking Madrid’s previous performances.
Adding to the hype, Yamal’s father commented live, saying, “I cook them here and my son cooks them there.”
However, the match outcome didn’t go as Yamal predicted. The young forward ended the game without a goal, assist, or shot on target, and lost possession 21 times as Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1.
After the match, Madrid’s Dani Carvajal taunted Yamal, saying, “You speak too much. Speak now.”
Vinícius Júnior added mockingly, “Nothing but back passes, huh? Just passing it back to the defenders.”
Despite the jabs, Aurelien Tchouameni offered a more balanced take, saying, “I like that Lamine Yamal talks and stuff. It helps with competition between clubs.”
Real Madrid’s goals came from Kylian Mbappé (22’) and Jude Bellingham (43’), while Fermín López (38’) scored Barcelona’s only goal. The victory extends Madrid’s lead at the top of La Liga to five points.
