The remains of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari was given a respectful military send-off today at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport in Katsina, following their arrival from London.

Upon the arrival of the Nigerian Air Force aircraft carrying his body, a brief yet poignant military ceremony took place.

Armed forces personnel paid full military honours, honouring him as a former Commander-in-Chief.

The ceremony featured a parade and salutes, symbolizing the nation’s appreciation for his service and sacrifice.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, former First Lady Aisha Buhari, and other dignitaries were present to observe the military farewell.
