Video: Ribadu claims Abuja–Kaduna highway is safe, confirms killing of infamous terrorists

National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu has reported that security forces have eliminated notorious terror leaders Kachalla Boka, Dogo Isah, and Kachalla Shekau, who once had control over sections of the Abuja–Kaduna route.

During an interactive session at the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation in Kaduna on Tuesday, Ribadu stated, “You can now drive from Abuja to Kaduna because we have taken out those individuals: Kachalla Boka, Dogo Isah, and Kachalla Shekau were the ones in charge of those areas.”

He also highlighted the importance of the recent advancements in security, “Just last night, we traveled from Abuja; we ensured that all ministers avoided flying.”
Ribadu’s comments indicate a change in travel practices for government officials, who can now safely utilize the road instead of depending on air travel through the previously hazardous corridor.
He credited decisive security operations and oversight from the Nigerian Air Force for dismantling the bandits’ control and restoring confidence in land travel.
