Some women have staged a protest rally at the State Government House in Port Harcourt, demanding the reinstatement of suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and an end to the ongoing state of emergency in the state.

In a trending video, the women were seen chanting solidarity songs and carrying placards.
President Tinubu in March declared a state of emergency in Rivers state following an intractable crisis between the Fubara and members of the State House of Assembly.
The President had in a nationwide emergency broadcast expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in Rivers State, Dailyeconomy reported.
