Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return from a hamstring injury with a stunning brace, powering Al Nassr to a 4-2 victory over Al Najma in the Saudi Pro League on Friday evening.
The 41-year-old Portuguese superstar came off the bench in Matchweek 27’s home clash, first converting a penalty in the 56th minute to make it 3-2, then sealing the win with an open-play strike.
Video footage captured Ronaldo’s clinical spot-kick, sending the ball past the diving goalkeeper before he celebrated in a group huddle with teammates amid roaring fans at Al Nassr Stadium.
The brace took Ronaldo’s career tally to an astonishing 967 goals.
