Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Nigerian international football star Victor Osimhen shared a memorable and humorous exchange today at the Troost-Ekong Foundation Charity Match held at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

As the player greeted the governor, Osimhen playfully remarked to the governor, noting that he was dressed as if he intended to play football.

Without missing a beat, Sanwo-Olu replied with a smile, “I want to play,” as he acted to be warming up, delighting fans and attendees with his spirited enthusiasm.

The charity match not only showcased top football talents but also highlighted the governor’s engaging personality and support for sports development in Lagos State.

In attendance were Super Eagles stars Victor Boniface, Ndid, William Troost-Ekong, Ighalo, Tolu Arokodare, and Frank Onyeka; nevertheless, music stars Zlanta Ibile, Mayorkun, and others showed up at the Charity Match.
