Video: Saudi accuses US of abandoning Gulf States for Israel amid Iranian strikes

Saudi Arabia has claimed that the United States has redirected air defences to protect Israel, leaving Gulf states vulnerable to Iranian missile attacks.
In an interview, a Saudi official stated, “The American defense is focused on Israel—without concern for the defense of the Arab Gulf states, which host many of the military bases.”
He added, “They left all the Gulf states at the mercy of Iranian strikes.”
The remarks follow U.S.-Israeli strikes that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, sparking Iranian retaliation on cities like Riyadh and Dubai since late February.
Attacks killed four and injured over 100, with Gulf states intercepting some projectiles but receiving no direct U.S. aid despite hosting key American bases.
Tensions escalate as Gulf foreign ministers meet, with Saudi Arabia condemning Iran and eyeing joint U.S. action.
