The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has stated that Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, is eligible to run for any political position in Nigeria.

In an interview with The Clarity Zone podcast, Bwala rejected the notion that Seyi’s political aspirations are solely a result of his father’s influence, emphasising that Seyi has established himself as a respected figure among the youth.
Bwala remarked, “If Seyi Tinubu’s father is the president, what stops him from running for Lagos State governor? Seyi Tinubu can even challenge his father in the next election.”
He portrayed Seyi as humble and down-to-earth, despite his privileged upbringing as the son of a former Lagos governor and the current president of Nigeria.
