Video: Shettima commissions power infrastructure projects at Borno varsity

Vice President Kashim Shettima has commissioned critical power infrastructure projects at Borno State University, Maiduguri, executed by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC).

The project as gathered in a statement on Sunday by the VP spokesman includes a 1×7.5MVA, 33/11KV injection substation, 3km of 33KV line, 2.5km of 11KV line, 2.5km of LT line, and three 500KVA distribution transformers, significantly boosting electricity supply to the university and nearby communities.

“Shortly after commissioning the National Asset Restoration Programme by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (@NASENIHQ) at the Borno State Agricultural Mechanization (BOSAMA) Farm Centre, Vice President Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM proceeded to Borno State University where he commissioned a power infrastructure projects executed by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (@ndphconline).

“The power project includes a 1X7.5MVA, 33/11KV injection substation, 3km of 33KV line, 2.5km of 11KV line, 2.5km of LT line, and 3 nos. 500KVA distribution transformers,” the statement stated.
This initiative is part of the Distribution Intervention Projects aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s vision to enhance infrastructure and economic activities nationwide.
