United States President Donald Trump has acknowledged the formidable strength of Iran as U.S. forces continue a high-stakes military campaign against the Islamic Republic, describing it as a clash with “one of the strongest countries in the world.”
In a recent statement, Trump said, “We are now engaged in a military operation with one of the strongest countries in the world.”
The remark refers to Iran during Operation Epic Fury, a U.S.-Israel joint operation launched in late February 2026.
The campaign reportedly targets Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missiles, and proxy militias across the region.
Trump has previously boasted of swift successes, claiming U.S. strikes have destroyed Iran’s navy, air force, and much of its leadership after just one month of operations.
However, his latest comments underscore Iran’s resilience, as Iranian missile activity persists and regional tensions escalate.
