United States President Donald Trump has announced a bold multilateral initiative called the “Board of Peace” at the World Economic Forum, claiming involvement from 59 countries to enforce a Gaza ceasefire and compel Hamas to surrender its weapons.
“We have 59 countries that are involved in peace in the Middle East. Many of them not—not in the Middle East. They’re near the Middle East, but they’re not in the Middle East,” Trump stated.
He issued a stark warning, “They have to give up their weapons. If they don’t do that, it’s going to be the end of them.”
