United States President Donald Trump has ramped up pressure on Ukraineon Tuesday, warning from Air Force One that Kyiv must rush to the negotiating table for imminent peace talks with Russia in Geneva.
In an exchange with reporters, Trump dismissed concerns about the high-stakes discussions, calling them “big talks” that will be “very easy.”
He added pointedly, “Look, so far Ukraine better come to the table fast. That’s all I’m telling you. We are in a position we want them to come.”
The remarks come as the U.S.-brokered negotiations enter their third round since Trump’s inauguration, focusing on thorny issues like territorial concessions and security guarantees.
The Geneva session, set for tomorrow, represents a pivotal moment in efforts to halt the war that has ravaged Europe and strained global alliances.
