Verified footage emerged showing intense US-Israeli airstrikes pounding Tehran on Saturday, the seventh day of the ongoing 2026 Iran war.
Videos captured multiple explosions lighting up the night sky, with thick plumes of black smoke billowing over urban neighborhoods, including areas near the iconic Azadi Tower.
The strikes mark a significant escalation, targeting key regime command centers and major airports such as Mehrabad International.
Eyewitness accounts and social media clips depict secondary blasts rippling through the city, though official casualty figures remain unconfirmed.
Iranian state media condemned the attacks as “barbaric aggression,” while reports indicate strikes have also impacted residential zones, sparking fears of civilian deaths and injuries.
It was gathered earlier that US Navy officials confirmed preparations to deploy the USS George H.W. Bush, a third nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, to the Middle East.
It will join the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford, substantially enhancing strike capabilities against Iranian targets.
Pentagon sources described the move as a “defensive posture” to deter further aggression.
The assaults have heightened concerns over broader regional fallout, with Gulf states like Saudi Arabia and the UAE on high alert for potential spillover.
