In a Fox & Friends phone interview, Trump declared, “We’re going to be very strongly involved in it. We have the greatest oil companies in the world—the biggest, the greatest—and we’re going to be very much involved in it.”
He emphasised urgency post-operation, adding, “We can’t take a chance after having done this incredible thing last night of letting somebody else take over, where we have to do it again.”
Trump also assured access, stating, “They’re going to get oil. We’re going to allow people to have oil.”
Praising the capture, Trump said, “I’ve never seen anything like this. I was able to watch it in real time. It was amazing to see the professionalism—the quality of leadership.”
