Video: VDM orchestrates protest to impede Dangote trucks in Auchi

Controversial social media figure, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has spearheaded a group of protesters in Auchi, Edo State, to disrupt the passage of trucks from Dangote Group.

This demonstration was sparked by an incident involving a Dangote truck that resulted in the amputation of the leg of reality TV star Phyna’s sister.
In a video captured during the protest, Verydarkman was heard stating, “Every other truck will pass but Dangote’s truck will not pass. They have to clear all the people in the hospital and the families that Dangote’s reckless drivers have put in the hospital.
“Even though money cannot bring people back to life, these Dangote killings in Auchi have to stop, and it stops today. No more Dangote trucks until they regulate their drivers, employ licensed drivers, and take care of the families of victims.”
He also noted that the demonstrators were not blocking the road entirely but were specifically stopping trailers belonging to the company until it takes responsibility for accident victims.
