Dino Melaye, the former Senator representing Kogi West, has proclaimed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as “dead and buried,” claiming that it is being manipulated by representatives of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Presidential Villa.

Melaye, a key figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed these views during an appearance on Arise Television.

He stated, “Apart from our Lord Jesus Christ no dead can rise again and I want to tell you that whatever you are seeing is make-shift, the dead is dead, we can only advertise the obituary.

“Dead and buried, PDP was sold and I’m not sure if they got the receipt of payment but it was sold and what you have now is APC controlled PDP.

“It’s a party that is being controlled from the Villa, it’s the agents of the APC that control the PDP.”
