Speaking in an interview with Channel TV, Wike revealed a distressing incident from the 2019 general elections that continues to influence his stance.
According to Wike, during the 2019 election period, there was a military General who gave the chilling order that Wike should be “shot.”
“In the 2019 election, there is one General who ordered that I should be shot,” Wike said.
This revelation sheds light on the tense and hostile political atmosphere that surrounded the polls.
Wike further explained the reason for his complete refusal to engage with the NSA office in the present day.
“That’s why, when I heard he is now working in the NSA office, I refused to go there,” the FCT Minister stated.
