Video: Youths organise visit to EFCC office to demand VDM’s release

A group of young people in Abuja has gathered to support social media influencer Verydarkman, advocating for his swift release.

Chanting “Free Verydarkman,” the group announced their intention to go to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission office today to press for his freedom.
Verydarkman was allegedly detained by EFCC operatives on Friday, May 2.
VDM’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, shared this information in a series of tweets on his X (formally Twitter) account.
The arrest reportedly occurred after Verydarkman publicly criticised a new generation bank for unauthorised transactions from his mother’s account.
