Viktor Gyökeres set to join Arsenal in €73.5m deal

Arsenal has reached a verbal agreement with Sporting CP for the transfer of Viktor Gyökeres.

The Gunners’ final bid of €63.5 million plus €10 million in add-ons has been accepted.

The player’s agent has agreed to reduce his commission, smoothing the way for the move.

Gyökeres, who insisted on joining Arsenal, is set to sign a five-year contract with the club.
