The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has conducted a revision of the results for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), which were initially announced on Monday.
During a press conference on Friday in Lagos, the Head of the National Office (Nigeria), Dr Amos Dangut, stated that following the review, 62.96% of the candidates who took the exam achieved credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
In the results previously disclosed, only 38.32% of candidates had obtained credits in five subjects, leading to significant national discontent.
