The winner of the 6th season of Big Brother Naija, Hazel Onou, well known as Whitemoney has responded to critics who questioned his silence on the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests in Nigeria.

In a recent post on his Instastories, Whitemoney clarified that he is not responsible for the personal issues faced by his critics, emphasising that he did not force anyone to vote for President Bola Tinubu during his time on the show.

He added that he does not consider himself an activist and has no intention of becoming one.

He wrote, “Fellow Nigerians, please know that I am not the cause of your current predicaments.

“I am not an activist and will never be. If you don’t like my content, kindly unfollow me.”

Whitemoney’s comments come after people urged him to lend his voice to the protests against bad governance and economic hardship in the country.
