Real Madrid attacker, Kylian Mbappé has revealed the key reasons behind his decision to join Paris Saint-Germain instead of moving directly to Real Madrid, a club long rumored to be his dream destination.

Reflecting on his career move after leaving Monaco, Mbappé in a recent interview, said, “When I left Monaco, all the clubs in Europe told me I would play for their teams.”

However, despite widespread interest, his mind was set on where he would get the best opportunity to play regularly.

He explained, “I was completely clear about my desire to play and Real Madrid had Benzema, Cristiano, and Bale. I didn’t want to sit on the bench.”

The French star underscored his hunger for consistent playing time over joining a prestigious club where he might struggle for minutes.

Mbappé continued, “I knew that Real Madrid, with all due respect, wouldn’t be able to play me in every match.”
