Veteran Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye well known as Mr-P has explained why P-Square issues are always brought to the public eye.

Mr-P in a statement, expressed surprise that people often say they always bring P-Square issues that are supposed to be their family matters into the public, noting that P-Square is a brand and it belongs to the fans, not their family.

He stated that their fans have played a notable role in achieving their success and they have the right to know what’s happening with the brand (P-Square) they have once shown love.

He wrote, “Let me clarify this, P-SQUARE is not just a family – it’s a public brand, but Peter, Paul, Jude, Anita, Ifeoma, Lola, and the rest of our family members are FAMILY, but P-SQUARE is an entity that belongs to the public as much as it does belong to us.

“Our fans have played a significant role in our success, so they have the right to know what’s happening with their beloved brand P-SQUARE.

“That’s why it’s understandable when certain aspects of our lives are shared publicly.”

Meanwhile, Dailyeconomy reported on Monday, August 12, that Rudeboy claimed that Mr-P had arrested him with EFCC, while Mr-P accused Rudeboy of downplaying his contributions to their iconic music duo (P-Square).
