Wike inspects projects in Abuja ahead of Tinubu’s second-year anniversary

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has inspected some of the ongoing projects within Abuja earmarked for commissioning to mark the second year anniversary of President Bola Tinubu.

Among the projects inspected were the International Conference Centre, Bridge linking Jahi with Kubwa Road, Bridge and the Road linking Life Camp with Jahi and Kubwa Road,  the Bridge linking Gishiri with Maitama and Jahi Road as well as internal roads in Katampe.

In a statement on Thursday,, the Minister’s spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, stated that Wike expressed confidence that, with the level of work already completed, the projects will be ready for commissioning as scheduled.

He wrote, “In readiness for the 2nd Year Anniversary of President Tinubu, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, went round to inspect some of the ongoing projects earmarked for commissioning to mark the anniversary.

“The projects inspected were International Conference Centre,  Bridge linking Jahi with Kubwa Road, Bridge and the Road linking Life Camp with Jahi and Kubwa Road, the Bridge linking Gishiri with Maitama and Jahi Road as well as internal roads in Katampe.

“The Minister expressed confidence that with the level of work already done, the projects will be ready for commissioning as scheduled.”
