Women affairs minister visits minors detained for #EndBadGovernance protest

Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has visited the minors detained for allegedly participating in the #EndBadGovernance protests.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, the minister made the visit at midnight.
The minors are among 72 defendants facing charges of treason.
Sulaiman-Ibrahim said the children’s rights and well-being would be safeguarded while justice is administered.

FNPA made a midnight visit yesterday to a facility where 27 children are detained in connection with the recent #EndBadGovernance protests.
“Driven by her unwavering commitment to child protection, she assessed their conditions firsthand and assured concerned citizens that while justice is administered, these children’s rights and well-being will be safeguarded.
“Under the leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, we remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that every Nigerian child is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.”
