Chelsea manager, Liam Rosenior has moved to quash speculation linking star midfielder Cole Palmer with a return to Manchester City, insisting the player remains fully committed to the Blues.
Speaking ahead of the weekend’s fixtures, Rosenior revealed direct conversations with Palmer that underline his contentment at Stamford Bridge.
“I spoke with Cole and he seems and is very happy to be here,” Rosenior stated emphatically.
The 23-year-old, who shone during his loan spell at City before a permanent £42.5 million move to Chelsea, has been pivotal in the team’s push up the table.
Rosenior added further reassurance on Palmer’s long-term future, “For sure Palmer is a huge part of our plans in the long-term. He’s feeling in a good place and joined training today.”
Palmer’s return to full training comes at a crucial juncture, with Chelsea eyeing a top-four finish.
