The Joyce Ojemudia Foundation (JOF) has been officially launched to address the challenges of infertility and neonatal mortality in Nigeria, with a commitment to restoring hope to families and improving newborn survival.
The foundation was unveiled on Tuesday in Lagos, during an event themed “Restoring Hope, Saving Lives.” The launch attracted dignitaries, including the First Lady of Osun State, Chief Mrs Titilola Adebusola Adeleke.

Speaking at the event, Adeleke congratulated the founder and the entire team for their vision and dedication to supporting families facing reproductive health challenges. She commended the foundation’s commitment to providing financial support for couples seeking fertility treatment, supplying neonatal care equipment to hospitals, and offering scholarships to vulnerable children.
“As a mother and someone deeply invested in the well-being of families, I understand the hope, the dreams, and sometimes the silent struggles that couples face when trying to start or grow a family,” she said, noting that initiatives like JOF fill an important gap in supporting families dealing with infertility and newborn health challenges.
She emphasised that while foundations can do meaningful work, lasting change requires collaboration among individuals, communities, and institutions. Adeleke encouraged stakeholders to contribute their time, resources, and voices to support the mission of the foundation, stressing that collective efforts could transform lives and provide hope for many families.
The Founder and Leader of the Joyce Ojemudia Foundation, Joyce Ojemudia, outlined the organisation’s vision and programmes aimed at addressing gaps in reproductive and neonatal healthcare.
According to her, JOF is a faith-driven, humanitarian, non-profit organisation committed to improving human well-being, assisting vulnerable children through education and medical support, and supporting couples facing fertility challenges. The foundation also aims to deliver meaningful and measurable impact through partnerships and advocacy.
She noted that it seeks to bridge critical gaps in healthcare and family support by providing preventive infant death interventions, emotional and financial hardship support for couples, and life-changing assistance to families and children in need.
The founder stated that its work is driven by faith, compassion and a deep sense of responsibility to humanity, anchored on the belief that every life saved, every family restored, and every barrier broken reinforces the commitment to creating lasting impact and restoring hope where it is needed most.
