CIIN mourns former NCRIB President Rotimi Edu

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) has mourned the passing of Barrister Rotimi Edu, a former President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), describing him as a distinguished insurance professional and strong advocate for the advancement of the insurance profession in Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the Governing Council, management, and members of the institute, the CIIN expressed deep sorrow over his death, noting that his contributions to the growth of insurance brokerage and the development of the industry remain remarkable and enduring.

The institute stated that Barrister Edu made significant contributions to the Nigerian insurance sector during his lifetime and was widely respected for his commitment to professionalism and industry development.

CIIN also extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late insurance practitioner, the NCRIB community, friends, and associates during the difficult period.

The institute prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul, describing his death as a painful loss to the insurance industry in Nigeria.
