Contribution hits N16m as Airtel donates N2m to quadruplets’ family

One of Nigeria’s top network providers, Airtel Nigeria, has promised to donate N2 million to the family of Sodiq Olayode, who just welcomed quadruplets with his wife, Abiodun Olayode.

This came after people had contributed over N14m to the family.

Airtel Nigeria announced this on X’s (formally Twitter) handle on Thursday.

The post read, “Hello, #jamysax, when life gives quadruplets, we give #ovajara support! We’re adding N2m because great things come in multiples.”

On Wednesday, July 24, Dailyeconomy reported that the Olayode family’s situation took a turn when a colleague identified as  Jamysax revealed that Olayode was distressed about his quadruplets using 105 diapers in just six days with the situation in the country.

Confirming the amount contributed so far, Jamysax wrote, “2 pm Update! N16,265,209. Road to N20M.”
