Assets under the Contributory Pension Scheme rose by N1.14tn in four months according to the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

Figures obtained by Dailyeconomy from PenCom today on ‘Unaudited report on pension funds industry portfolio for the period ended 30 April 2025; Approved Existing Schemes, Closed Pension Fund Administrators and RSA Funds (Including unremitted contributions @CBN & Legacy Funds)’, showed that the total assets rose from N22.512tn as of December 31, 2024 to N23.65tn at the end of April 30,2025

As of April, the bulk of the funds totalling N14. 65tn was invested in FGN securities.
