Ecobank Nigeria launched the 4th edition of its Adire Lagos Exhibition to an enthusiastic and well-attended gathering, celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and the creative potential of its local artisans. Held at the Ecobank Pan African Centre, 270B1 Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos, the exhibition welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 AM.

The event drew a large and diverse audience, including fashion enthusiasts, cultural advocates, creative entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, all united in appreciation of the beauty and economic promise of Adire fabric.

A major highlight of the opening day was a vibrant fashion show by Ecobank staff, who showcased unique interpretations of traditional Adire in stylish modern cuts, reflecting the evolving landscape of indigenous Nigerian fashion.

Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs at Ecobank Nigeria, reaffirmed the bank’s dedication to the creative industry, stating:

“At Ecobank Nigeria, we are committed to being the leading financial partner for Small and Medium Enterprises across sectors. We see immense growth potential in the creative industry and have built platforms like Adire Lagos to help creatives scale, gain visibility, and access new markets.”

Also speaking, Austen Osokpor, Head of Corporate Communications, emphasized the significance of the event:

“Ecobank Adire Lagos is more than a fashion exhibition—it’s a movement. Each edition continues to grow in size and impact, reinforcing the important role of culture in Nigeria’s economic future. We’re excited to see both established and emerging designers getting the spotlight they deserve.”

Now in its fourth successful year, Adire Lagos Exhibition continues to serve as a catalyst for cultural preservation and economic empowerment, attracting widespread attention and proving once again that Nigeria’s creative economy is thriving.
