Edun leads Nigeria’s delegation to IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, is leading the country’s delegation to the 2026 IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings, held from April 13–18.
A Ministry of Finance statement on Monday said, “Wale Edun Leads Nigeria’s Delegation to IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings Amid Fresh Global Economic Pressures.”
The statement added that amid “intensifying global economic uncertainty,” Edun is holding “high-level bilateral and policy discussions” to advance reforms, strengthen fiscal outlook, and boost investment.
The trip according to the statement aligns with the #RenewedHopeAgenda, promoting Nigeria’s role in global economic diplomacy.
