Finance Ministers align on Tinubu’s 2026 economic reforms

Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, held strategic discussions with the Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite, to propel President Bola Tinubu’s economic agenda forward.
The Ministry of Finance announced the engagement in a statement released Thursday, emphasising its role in the administration’s broader reforms.
“The Honourable Minister of Finance focused on advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic agenda and delivering key priorities for the year ahead,” the statement read.
These talks underscore efforts to bolster market confidence and attract investment amid ongoing economic challenges.
The ministry highlighted how the discussions align with goals to “strengthen market confidence, deepen domestic investment, and position Nigeria as a competitive and resilient economy.”
