Hamzat extends Eid el-Kabir wishes to Muslim faithful

Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat had wished Muslim faithful “peace, good health and joy” as they celebrate the festival with family and loved ones.
In his statement on Wednesday, Hamzat emphasised the festival’s core themes of sacrifice, kindness and collective responsibility, urging residents to support one another as they work to build a better society.
He wrote, “As we celebrate Eid el Kabir, I wish all Muslim faithful peace, good health and joy with their families and loved ones.
This season reminds us of sacrifice, kindness, and our shared responsibility to support one another and build a better society together.
“May Allah accept our prayers and bless Lagos State and Nigeria with peace and progress. Eid Mubarak.”
Hamzat concluded by praying for national and state well‑being, asking that Allah accept prayers and bless Lagos State and Nigeria with peace and progress.
