Hull City hold Chelsea to draw, stay unbeaten after four Premier League games

Hull City continued their impressive start to life back in the Premier League by earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on Saturday.

Morgan Rogers gave the home side an early lead in the seventh minute, but Algerian winger Mohamed Belloumi struck twice in six minutes either side of the half-hour mark to put the visitors ahead.

João Pedro equalised for Chelsea in the 66th minute to secure a share of the points.

The result leaves newly promoted Hull City unbeaten after four matches (two wins and two draws), sitting high in the early table with eight points.

Belloumi has been a key figure in their strong opening, while Rogers and João Pedro again found the net for Chelsea.

Hull, who returned to the top flight via the Championship play-offs, have shown resilience and attacking threat against established Premier League sides in the opening weeks of the season.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
