The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, visited Sokoto State for official duties.

During his stay, he formally inaugurated the newly built access road to Sadiq Abubakar III International Airport in Sokoto.

Alongside the road inauguration, the Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new protocol lounge at the airport.

These projects are part of the federal government’s continuing efforts to enhance aviation infrastructure throughout Nigeria.

Keyamo communicated this in a brief statement shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

The statement reads, “Yesterday, I embarked on a working visit to Sokoto State where I commissioned the newly constructed access road leading to the Sadiq Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto.

“Whilst there, I also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new protocol lounge at the airport. This is part of our ongoing efforts to modernize aviation infrastructure across the country.”
