Manchester United has extended goalkeeper Karl Darlow’s stay at the club, with his new contract running until June 2028 and including a club option for a further year until June 2029.

The move comes amid significant changes in United’s goalkeeping department.

United backup goalie Altay Bayındır is expected to depart following the continued presence of first-choice keeper Lemmens Sanne.

Darlow, a reliable experienced option, provides depth and stability as the club reshapes its squad this summer.
