Nigerian students win world school debate championship

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has hailed the exceptional performance of Delta State students who secured Nigeria’s victory at the recent World School Debate Championship in Doha, Qatar.
The governor in a statement via his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievement, highlighting it as a testament to the potential of young minds nurtured under the state’s MORE Agenda.
He wrote, “I proudly celebrate the brilliant students from Delta State who led Nigeria to victory at the World School Debate Championship in Doha, Qatar. This triumph is a shining example of what young minds can achieve when nurtured under a focused vision like the MOREAgenda. Delta is not just participating in the global conversation—we’re leading it!
