Nine miscreants nabbed under Ikeja bridge

In a swift response to a tip-off from a radio broadcast, enforcement officials from the Lagos Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, apprehended nine individuals terrorising residents under the bridge opposite Ayinke House in Ikeja.

This was made know on Tuesday, in a video shared on X (formally Twitter) account by the Lagos Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.

The video caption reads, “Following a tip off on a radio broadcast earlier today, officials of the enforcement team from the Ministry apprehended 9 miscreants who were terrorizing people under the bridge opposite Ayinke House, Ikeja.

“We remain committed to a safe Lagos for all.”

However, the operation underscores the state government’s commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all Lagosians as they continue efforts to combat crime in the city.
