NIS warns passport applicants against using third-party agents for payment

The Nigeria Immigration Service has warned passport applicants against patronising third party agents to make payments.
The Service in a terse statement on Monday, stated that passport applicants can make payments themselves online via the official website.
The memo reads, “Applicants can make payments themselves online via: passport.immigration.gov.ng. Do NOT patronize third-party agents!
“Stay vigilant! If you see something. say something. Report via NIS official channels below.
“The Service remains committed to ensuring transparency and maintains its zero tolerance to all forms of corruption.”
